Nordic Walking
The Familien-Sport-Gemeinschaft Bielefeld sees itself primarily as a recreational sports club where family members can take part in a wide range of sports activities either individually or together. In recreational sports, the focus is not on measurable performance, but on physical activity itself. Each athlete decides for themselves what the “right amount” of exercise is. On our grounds, we have created ideal conditions for this with a variety of sports facilities. The different sports activities give all members the opportunity to maintain or improve their personal fitness — either in a group or individually.
The range of sports that can be practised on or outside our grounds is extensive. We offer:

Wassergymnastik
Unlike many other sports clubs, FSG Bielefeld does not charge any additional “section fees”. This means that every member can use all sports facilities and take part in all sports activities — without any additional financial burden. This also applies to the wellness area. After all, a good sports programme includes not only physical activity itself, but also the opportunity to actively shape the recovery phase after exercise. For this reason, the sports programme is rounded off by two saunas.
From 10 May 2025 to 25 October 2025, non-members can also take the German Sports Badge test every Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The meeting point is at the boules hut. Registration by email to dsa@fsg-bielefeld.de is required by 12 noon on the previous day, Friday, and the information below must be observed.
Important information
In addition to recreational sports, FSG Bielefeld also promotes naturism.
This means for you:
- You may complete the athletics and gymnastics disciplines either in sportswear or without clothing/nude.
- The swimming disciplines in our solar-heated outdoor pool and the use of the warm-water showers are only possible without clothing/nude.
- Encounters with unclothed/nude persons are possible throughout the entire Senneriffa family sports grounds.
- Smoking and the use of electronic devices such as mobile phones or tablets are only permitted on the terrace at the Senneriffa-Stübchen. Photography is strictly prohibited.
